This site is operated by PKG Systems, which is the controller of the information described on this page.

Short version: this site measures itself with its own software, on its own servers. No advertising networks, no third-party analytics, no tracking cookies, and nothing about your visit is sold or shared. This page is written in plain language and says what actually happens, not what is permitted.

What this site records

• Server logs. Our web server records the request URL, your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, the referring page, and a timestamp — the ordinary operational log every web server keeps, used to run the site and detect abuse. Retained briefly, then discarded.
• First-party analytics. This site measures itself with analytics we wrote and run, served from this same domain. No third-party service ever sees your visit. The beacon records the page path, how you arrived (the referring site and campaign tags, when present), how long you stayed, and how far you scrolled. It sets no cookies, stores no IP address, and carries no identifier that follows you across sites or even across visits. Raw events are kept for 90 days, then reduced to aggregate daily statistics.

That list is exhaustive. The five things the beacon can send are: that a visit started, that a page was viewed, how you arrived, seconds spent, and scroll depth. There is no sixth.

No cookie banner, and nothing kept on your device

This site does not show you a cookie banner, because it does not set cookies to ask you about. Nothing described above is stored on your device — the measurement sets no cookie and writes nothing to your browser's storage. There is no setting for you to find, because there is no collection to turn off.

Nothing this site records can recognize you if you come back tomorrow. We are not able to, and it is not an oversight — the measurement was built without a visitor identifier, so there is nothing to match you against.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser or an extension sends the Global Privacy Control signal, this site honors it automatically and without asking you anything: nothing that could remember you is kept or offered, and anything this site had previously stored on your device is erased. You do not have to find a setting or fill in a form — the signal is the request, and it is granted on arrival.

We can honor it without argument because there is nothing on the other side of the trade: no advertising revenue, no data broker, no partner network. This site declares its support at /.well-known/gpc.json.

What this site never does

• No tracking cookies. No Google Analytics, no advertising or social pixels, no third-party analytics of any kind.
• No fingerprinting — we do not probe your browser, canvas, or fonts to identify you.
• No selling or sharing of your information with anyone.
• No use of your information to train machine-learning models.
• No profile that follows you from one of our sites to another. Each site's measurements stay that site's measurements.

Who else touches your information

Very few third parties are involved, and none of them receive analytics about your visit. The complete list, and what each one does, is published as our sub-processor register and is kept current. In summary:

• Amazon Web Services hosts everything we run — the servers, the databases, and the encrypted database backups. Your information is stored in the United States.
• Amazon Simple Email Service delivers email we send you (a reply, a sign-in link, a result you asked for).
• Let's Encrypt issues the certificate that encrypts your connection to this site. It receives the site's name, never yours.

Where a specific product sends information anywhere else — most notably to an AI model provider — the product's own section below says so plainly, names the provider, and says what is sent.

Your rights and how to use them

Whatever law applies where you live, our answer is the same and does not depend on which one it is. You may ask us to:

• tell you what information we hold about you,
• give you a copy of it,
• correct it,
• delete it,
• stop doing something with it.

Write to privacy@pkgsystems.com. Ask in your own words; there is no form. We will answer in writing. We do not charge, and we do not treat you differently for asking.

"Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information." We do not sell or share personal information, and we have never done so — so there is nothing to opt out of. If you would like that confirmed in writing for your records, ask at the address above and we will send it. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, that request is already honored automatically (see above).

A note on precision. "We don't sell your data" is the easiest sentence in this industry to write and the hardest to verify. What makes ours checkable is that the register above is the whole list, our analytics refuse by construction to send anywhere but our own domain, and you can watch it: open your browser's network tab on any page of this site and count the hosts.

We version this page in public. When it changes materially we date the change here rather than quietly editing it.

The assistant, and the contact form

This site carries an assistant you can ask a question or leave a message with. What you type goes to us — your message, your email address, and your name if the form asks for one. It is stored in our own database and emailed to us through Amazon SES; we also keep a one-way hash of your IP address, a scrambled value we cannot turn back into an address, solely to detect abuse. The assistant keeps a short record of your conversation in your own browser for the length of your visit, so it does not forget what you just said. We keep what you send us while the conversation is relevant and delete or archive it when it is not. We do not add you to any list you did not ask for.

The contact form asks for your name, email and message, and sends them to us. We use them to reply.
